Island Life

I like living on an island. You've heard the term "Island Time", it's slower. I've started to slow down a bit and I like it. Watching a sunrise or a sunset, time in painting a picture, sculpting the earth and planting a garden.

Watching the wildlife migrate through my yard or flying over my head. Collecting driftwood on a beach and finding a arrowhead. Baking bread in my kitchen and wholesome meals. Reading a good book that brings me to tears. Napping on the couch in the sun. Loving my husband and my pets. Watching my daughter who has grown into a beautiful woman and mother. I have found bliss.

Times Fly's and the Stork Arrives!

2010 has been such a crazy year as we all awaited and anticipated the birth of our first grandchild. Little Miss Roberta Lynn entered the world on July 16th 2010 shortly after midnight. Weighing in at 7 pounds 6.5 ounces and 19 inches long. I will never forget watching her come into the world. It's was truly "The Greatest Show On Earth"!

New Grandchild!

Baby Peter's at 17 weeks! The doctor's are saying it looks like a little girl. One more ultrasound in a week to confirm the sex. I'm seeing pink already! What a beautiful blessing!
